In this article we shall reviewed purse organizer inserts that are made for Neverfull MM. LV Neverfull MM is one of the most popular tote bag by Louis Vuitton. Everything about Neverfull MM is great except:
- It does not have any compartments to store your belongings
- It does not have a solid base and as a result your bag tend to sag at the bottom, it’s overall structured is also weak so the tote bag is not able to stand on its own.
- It will not stain the interior of the handbag due to color transfer
For a better understanding of what I mean by the above two points, see below pictures. Look at how messy my Neverfull MM is without a purse insert and how it tend to sag at the bottom. 
To solve these two problems, you can consider getting a purse insert. You will be surprised to learn that there are many purse inserts in the market today. Some of these unbranded purse inserts can be as cheaper as US$3.00 which is sold at Daiso. It is also called “Bag in Bag” which is another name for Purse Insert or Bag Organizer. All these purse inserts does not have any form or structure at all making it hard to get things organize in your handbag.
The more branded purse inserts include brands such as CloverSac, Purse to Go, Chameleon Inserts and even higher ends one like Tintamar. There are also hand-crafted purse inserts like Samorga or Divide and Conquer that are sold at Esty. Branded or unbranded is not important, what is more important is it need to solve your bag organisation problems. My selection criteria when it comes to choosing a perfect purse insert are:
- The Purse insert must have enough compartments to store and organize my belongings, preferably it can store my water bottle as well.
- The Purse insert must be able to fit into my Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM nicely; the dimension of the LV Neverfull MM is 12.6″ W x 11.4″ D x 6.7″. It is important that the size of the purse insert is not bigger than the internal dimensions of LV Neverfull MM. If you are planning to buy a Purse insert for your handbag, it is good practise to take the internal dimension of your handbag first, validate that against the dimensions of the purse insert just to be sure.
- The Purse Insert must be able to have some structured in its overall design so that my Neverfull MM will not sag at the bottom. It must be easy to reach for the items inside the purse insert.
The purse inserts that I have shortlisted include CloverSac Regular Fit, Purse to Go Boxy and Large Bucket Type, Chameleon Inserts Extra Large and Extra Large Tall, two unbranded bag organizers from Qoo10. I did not shortlist Tintamar and Samargo in this review as Tintamar was far too over-priced and Samoga is made of felt which I am concern it may shed over time.

CloverSac Emma 28 is one of best structured purse insert that I have seen so far. It can hold and store all items well and that includes storing my water bottle firmly. With a good overall structured, it helps to keep the Neverfull MM in shape and prevent the bottom from sagging. It has removable PE cards that are inserted on the side walls and base which can turn the entire purse insert to be less structure and lighter in weight if needed. What I personally like most about CloverSac Emma 28 is the middle compartment which has 4 slots can be removed if you needed more space and pinned back if you needed more compartments in the middle. The removable centre compartment also act as a partition for the purse insert. Workmanship is also great for the CloverSac Emma 28.

CloverSac is the only purse organizer in the market that passed the dry rubbing test color fastness conducted by Bureau Veritas with a score of 5 out 5. This signify that color dye on CloverSac purse organizer will not color transfer onto the interior of your handbags
The Chameleon Inserts has two purse inserts that can fit into a Neverfull MM. They were Extra-large (Red) and Extra-large Tall (Brown). Both of these Purse Inserts is structured with removable PE cards on its sides like CloverSac. What I didn’t like about Chameleon Insert is it rather clumsy with all the foam sewed between its fabric. The Extra-large (Brown) pockets were also too deep as the purse insert is tall, making hard to reach for items in its bag. It has many compartments but not one can fit my water bottle.
Purse to Go is extremely light in weight. In fact, it is one of the lightest among all the rest of the purse inserts. If you are looking for something that is light which has no overall structure, Purse to Go fits the bill. It is made of polysilk which has a great cotton feel to it.Both the Purse To Go Large-Size and Boxy-Small can fit into the Neverfull MM. I did not chose Purse to Go because it lacks the structure that I am looking for in a Purse insert. The zipped pocket in the middle of boxy-small is a little clumsy to use. It has the same problem for the boxy-small, pockets were too deep making it hard to reach for items.
I bought two Bag Organizer from Qoo10, one has an overall good structured (Beige and Black) as it comes with an optional base structure card, the red one is soft and weak in structure. The Beige and Black Organizer has a strong base as it comes with a base card but it lack the side structure card which CloverSac and Chameleon Insert has. It compensates the overall structure on its side that by using thick material to add structure to its overall design. As a result of the material used, it weighs 350 gram and it is one of heaviest bag organizer. The Red organizer is too flimsy for my liking even though it has zipped pocket on the top for added security.
