Coach Leather Moisturizer Reviews

The Coach Leather Moisturizer is a leather conditioner that is specifically manufactured by Coach for its leather handbags. Good news if you are planning to buy one to used on your Coach handbags as most feedback gathered from Purse Forum members and Amazon users were pretty positive.

What users like about this moisturizer compared to other leather conditioner is it is non-greasy and it will not cause the leather to darken after application. More importantly, the moisturizer will not transfer to clothing when it comes into contact with the bag. Some users even revealed that it brought “shine” to their Coach leather bags. Others claimed that their Coach bags looked “brand new” after applying it as it helps to cover up blemishes and leaves a “nice shine to the leather.” For example, a Coach owner accidentally spilled alcohol on her coach Classic Leather Duffle leaving behind a dark spill stains. After using the moisturizer on the stains and the rest of the purse, the stains have disappeared and the purse once again looks brand new.

The product also had its share of criticism. The product is limited when it comes to the material type that this moisturizer can be used on. As stated on the label of this moisturizer, this product is only suitable for selected material such as Glove Tanned (Soho, Hamptons, Legacy, Bleecker Men), Polished Calf and English Bridle. Not many have tested this product on other material as it is stated clearly on the product that it is not suited to be used on the following surfaces:

  • Metallic
  • Pebbled leather
  • Water buffalo leather
  • Suede or treated suede
  • Treated leather
  • Nappa leather
  • Patent leather
  • Vachetta leather
  • Fabric material (twill, signature fabrics, nylon, satin, metallic, denim)
  • Straw
  • Haircalf

Compared to its closest competitor Apple leather conditioner, Coach Leather Moisturizer is lesser versatile.

Coach Leather Moisturizer is sold at the Coach website and it is retailing at USD10.00 per bottle.
